The concept of Welforce was from a perfect storm of ideas. In fact, the entire ChrusherComix comic book itself was more or less a spinoff, just adding more characters to my “Mike Butski” comics, cartoonishly based on my good friend Mike Buske, and mostly around his beggar behaviors. He begged for money and had NO shame. If you note his blue ink addition to this very page above, he was even proud of his incessant scrounging!
“C’mon man, I just need 25 cents for an ice cream sandwich! Pleeeaaase? I’ll pay you back later! Honest!”
