“JO-JO, YOUR ASS IS HUGE!!!!” / Mama The Butt | Old Friends / New Enemies
Ricktor’s careless crank call prank to Jo-Jo almost winds up getting himself killed at the hands of Jo-Jo’s fury – and hunting rifle… until the totalitarian parents of Jo-Jo put him to child labor slave-work, er, chores and save jolly ol’ Rick’s life!

Author’s note: Again, my comics are an odd composite of 100% fictional characters that I had a spark of inspiration from a real-life person or event and created the comic. Thus, my friend had parents that put them into hard chore labor – so hard to the point that we barely saw them out of school and ruined a few after school events like playing football, video games, or riding bikes down the local trails.
Spark an idea: parents who are somewhat cruel and put their kids to do slave work. Not real, but sparked by a real-life event. Also, said parents slightly overweight. Not morbidly obese, just mildly overweight. But that’s not funny… slothful, slobbering, morbidly obese giant sloths who needed their kids to do EVERYTHING for them… now that makes for a funny comic.
Again, these weren’t real people, and sometimes I think that my friends would think that they were based after their real-life parents, but that is 100% not the case. I got an idea and threw my established characters into the said scenarios. Even so, an old friend may see this and think I was mocking them or their parents – completely not the case. Even if said parents wee a tad unfair to me a few times, still, not the case of revenge-via-art. I simply made this character, partially inspired by a real event to my then 15-year-old self and ran with it.

It probably more ripped off ‘Jabba The Hutt’ from the Star Wars Universe than it did my friend’s mom and dad. But, I think back in the day, they took it the wrong way, as a prior pencil drawing of the same character got ERASED by the guy who THOUGHT that I was drawing his mom. Was not the case… just based it after a few ideas.
