Ninjas, Magic Samurai, Power Gauntlets, and Dragons? Oh-MY!
This comic really took some strange turns in Year Three. Chrusher was facing some strangely powerful villains — hell, before he just faced fellow classmates. What were these powerful energy gauntlets? Who is the armored King Babah? Did he just teleport somewhere? Is this dragon creature real or an illusion?
Part of it is requests by classmate/reader/fans of the book and art projects. Part of it is having a loose plan (that I retcon as I go back and remember loose strings I left!). Part of it was it was the end of the 1991 school year and I needed to wrap things up for the following season, but part of it was just 17-year-old me thinking the shit looked f’n’ cool when it came down to it.
Personally, I didn’t care for my dragon… he was kind of a request and he didn’t come out as well as I wanted… AND it made no goddamn sense! lol!
