The ChrusherComix Universe has a large cast of various characters. Like the real world, characters in the book come in all stripes - some are comic relief, some for drama, and when I say all stripes, I meant it. As the book expands, so does the cast, as this is not a gag-a-day comic or a planned epic graphic novel that stops after a few chapters... it is an expansive 20 year volume of comics that ends with a graphic novel. Here are our tagged characters, listed in order of most tagged appearances.

Chace 'Chrusher' Kristoph (Chris 'Crusher' Stevenson)

Chace Kristoph (formerly known as Chris "Crusher" Stevenson) is the main protagonist of this comic book and graphic novel. Hurled into the spotlight unwittingly, as he was just a regular, every day, normal high school freshman in Oswegonia, a childish game of one-upmanship between he, Mike Butski and Ron Foule became a full-fledged grudge match as time went on. Formed The Conquerors, a group of good ol' boy high schoolers of all stripes against mischievous, trouble-making classmates and later on, corrupt teachers. Raised by his mom and adoptive uncle Wesley "TrOgre" Stevenson (who he believed was his father for years, as his father was killed in Southeast Asia when he was a youth), he received a ruby-bloodstone crucifix from his grandfather which was apparently the induction into a mystic group of vigilantes known as the Chr'shr, a secret group of justice-seeking vigilantes that work outside of the restrictions of law in cases of criminals who also operate as otherwise untouchable by the law (or in control of it). His character the straight man amidst the craziness of the rest of the book, but often getting dragged into and joining the craziness of those around him. Strong moral fiber, intelligent, athletic, trained and highly-skilled in several martial arts, Chrusher later on becomes a private detective with a background in Forensic science and a skill at forensic art, while secretly being a member of the Ch'Shr secret society of vigilantes.

RaYzor "The Hitman" Cadildo

RaYzor "Hitman" Cadildo (or is it Constipatello?) is one of Crusher's oldest friends. As a young lad, he watched many pro-wrestling matches and became a fan of characters such as Shawn Michaels, Bret "Hitman" Hart, and Razor Ramon (Gee... I mean, he ripped off their names). Known as being a very outgoing extrovert, he is somewhat less known for the truth that he is a master of manipulation. He was champion pro-wrestler in his elementary school playground championships, and held the title throughout Middle School via conniving cheating and self-disqualification to preserve his title. When first hearing Guns n' Roses, he knew his goal in life was to grow his hair long and rule. Proficient at wrestling, an avid musician, and good with computor mashines, he set upon that path. [SPOILERS: RaYzor was recruited into Welforce by default - he was simply hiding in a Charity Donation box when Butski stumbled upon him. He was getting picked on by on-again/off-again friend, Conqueror Chris "Crasher" Chassis and had enough. He snapped. It began a long rise from lowly Welforce agent to the conspired defeat and hospitalization of Crasher, the betrayal of Welforce, and joining the Conquerors, blaming Crasher's coma on Ron Foule. He later on set his sights on Chrusher's leadership of the Conquerors, but led the team in to utter failure in their 1st loss to Welforce, and the rest of the team mutinied him. Chrusher's return saw Ray completely snap and be institutionalized, where he met people who resembled his idols. Chrusher later on forgave RaYzor for his crimes and Ray stayed in the Conquerors when the rest of the group quit. Ray has been a Conqueror ever since.]

Ron Foule

Ronald "The Cool Fool" Foule is the quintessential nerd. Tall, skinny, pale, socially awkward, questionable fashion sense, studious at schoolwork... he really only lacks thick glasses to be the full model nerd. Ronnie began his freshman year of high school continuing his odd middle school fixation with one Michael Butski. Ron was somewhat sexulaly confused, being attracted to Butski, until Butski showed him a Playboy magazine, and Ron then woke up and started developing feelings for women as well. However, he still had an odd affection for Butski, who actually did make out with him a few times... (EEWW!). Friends with Chrusher, although at times tried to prove his toughness which got the ENTIRE COMIC started via a silly high school classmate rivalry. [SPOILER ALERT: Ronald grew up to be a secretive, but productive member of society, working for his father's corporation and actually married to a stunning blonde.]

Mike Butski

Michael "Misfit Biscuit" Butski is an extremely odd fellow - and the 1st character ever created in the ChrusherComix universe. Star of the long-lost "Misadventures of Mike Butski" comic (that was confiscated by middle school teachers in 1987), he was then the 2nd character ever seen in Classic ChrusherComix #1, fighting off the advances of the sexually confused Ronald Foule. Usually clad in his nerdy taped-up glasses, beige/tan cowboy/polo shirt, and army green pants, and a thin layer of filth, dirt and grime, he is unmistakable with giant cheeks and a shit-eating grin when he's up to something. Apparently comes from a middle-class rural farmer/hunter family (although never seen), yet is a complete and total scrounge who scavenges everything and anything he can. Claims to have sweet motorbikes, ATVs and expensive BMX bicycles that he claims are expensive (yet nobody ever does see him in them). In other words, he looks dirt poor, claims that his family is well-off, but he's kind of a welfare fraud and notorious cheat either way. Borrows (without ever repaying), looks like a street kid (but apparently lives in a nice-sized family home), and steals from charity donation bins. Claims to score with hot chicks, yet nobody ever sees him with any. He is the friend of Chrusher, yet his dishonest scrounging sometimes puts him at odds with Crush. When caught stealing from the Charity boxes, he was recruited into Welforce, he began a longstanding rivalry with Crusher's justice-seeking, amatuer high school vigilante group - the Conquerors.

He also speaks often of greased rakes, telephone poles, fences, forks, pencils, crayons, chainsaws, lawn mowers, rusty pitchforks, bike chains and ice-picks up people's hind sides. Founder of "The Rake Hectors" and "The Saucy Chain of Doom." Once a foe of Chrusher, now an ally.

Keith "Slasher" Clarkson

Keith was once a regular, every day high school teenager. However, when Cow and The Grim Raker took over his Science class and slashed his butt with a muto-powered rake, his face became permanently deformed and he grew four razor-sharp blades from each knuckle. Gets very angry when one points out the obvious - that he looks like a cross between Cobra Commander and Wolverine. Keith has a very dark outlook on life, and has been rumored to have studied mystic arts. Often goes on racist rants, which in turn has made some people call him "KKKeith." Has pure hatred for those who have crossed him. A sadistic and malicious prankster extraordinaire. Though an old friend of Chrusher, he's considered to be a loose cannon.

Occasionally has dizzy spells that leave her doing strange things to her hind. Although she is elderly and obese, she employs one of the most devastating maneuvers known to mankind... the "EAT-ME-OUT-CROTCH-ROT-TORTURE-HOLD-REVERSE-PEDIGREE." Best to NOT find yourself in it.

Justin was killed by a katana-wielding high scholar pretending to be a Ninja. But after toxic waste was poured on his grave, his seemingly immortal corpse emerged with acidic skin and the ability to shoot energy blasts from his fists. Henceforth re-named; The Grim Raker.

Ian "The Brain" Babblet

Ian is a mathematical genius. Referred to as a human calculator, he often can solve any equation in his own mind before an average person can with a calculator. Due to this, he skipped two grades in public school. Being younger, more immature and far weaker than most of his classmates, he was a bit of an introverted, quiet nerd until he was recruited into Welforce by Foule and Butski. Once in Welforce, it was apparent that the other members were truly incompetent with stunningly low-IQ and sorry cognitive skills. Ian's confidence started showing, as by year two, he went from the quiet strategist on the side to the full-fledged leader, and led Welforce to it's 1st victory over the Conquerors in Chrusher's absence. He developed a dark side in this period, frustrated that he was unable to score with hot chicks and as a firm believer in gay rights (before they were championed by the mainstream media and progressive socialists), even experimented with gay activities with Foule and Butski. Heartbroken that a chick that he was in puppy love with was in love with Chrusher, it fueled his anger and he became more obsessed with defeating the Conquerors. After high school, he joined the Navy and attempted to defeat RaYzor and Chrusher a handful of times, but lost. Chrusher believed that Ian buried the hatchet and they were to be friends, but losing his faith in God during college, he became an atheist evangelist of sorts, which again fanned the flames of his anger issues. Following his father's footsteps, he has become a Nuclaer Engineer. His brother is Eric "Babs" Babblet, who is good friends with Chrusher, much to Ian's dismay. He has been lurking in the background for years, apparently waiting to strike.

Obliterator

Name unknown from parts unknown, claims to be the cousin of Ron Foule. A massive, hulking, blonde-haired, blue-eyed genetic anomoly who was once picked on as a youth and abused steroids (and a mystery drug known as HuMiracle Gro) to become massively muscular and freakishly strong with enhanced reflexes. Obsessed with revenge against those who he feels one-upped or bullied him or his cousin Ron, despite showing no real relationship with him. Appears to have low cognitive skills, as he is seemingly obsessed with only getting stronger and defeating those who he feels crossed him.

Buddy to Corey Maronie and Mark Sharkton, although by the way he speaks to them and slaps them around you wouldn't know it. Friend of Chrusher, yet also friends with the new Welforce, making him somewhat of a mercenary for hire. He absolutely HATES Ron Foule, and LOVES giving full-effort roundhouse punches and brutal kicks to unconscious or prone people, so watch yourself around him. Handsome, muscular, a bit of a brash and arrogant ladies man whose aggression is diffused by boning his hot teenage girlfriend at friends houses and leaving bedsheets thoroughly soiled of teenage sexuality. [SPOILER ALERT] Tragically lost in a massive explosion attempting to diffuse Grim Raker's self-destruct mechanism in "The Wrath of the Rake" 1988-89 season one finale.

Steve "Hybrid Barbarian" Howeird

THE BEZERKER! Steven "The Hybrid Renegade Spick-and-Span Barbarian" Howeird! Steven Howeird, once known as "Hulk Howeird" was a somewhat eccentric kid who loved pro-wrestling, pro boxing, NFL football and body building. Worshipped muscular/ripped actors and athletes in the mid-to-late 1980s, and often emulated pro wrestlers such as Ultimate Warrior, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Hulk Hogan and the Bushwackers. However, a childhood incident when he fell in a barn and a nail lodged into his skull with no apparent effects other than giving him a lazy eye, Howeird lived on with the help of strange-looking Geordi La Forge glasses (despite HATING Star Trek, which led to some ridicule). At some point in his teens, Steven started acting abnormally odd, sing a different character every day, Sometimes a pro-wrestler - often the indiscernible "Warrior power" messages from Ultimate Warrior. Sometimes Arnold Schwarzenegger. Sometimes as a Rabbi or Priest. And his Russian hat and Herschel Walker Vikings jersey combined with these things truly made for an odd sight. Mockery led him to dispatching of his Star Trek glasses, and then led to even more ridicule. Seeking popularity, he attempted to join his friend Chrusher's amatuer vigilante group - the Conquerors. Dressed in nothing but a leopard-print loin cloth and wielding a massive battle axe, complete with his slicked-back hair in the front and partially ponytailed mullet in the back, he failed. Badly beaten by other Conqueror tryouts, he was dropped unconscious into the garbage, where his sanity seemed to leave him during his slumber. Upon his awakening, his sexuality became completely limitless - male, female, and creatures were not free from his wandering lustful lazy eye and advances. A junkyard territorial battle with Mike Butski left him with no other option, to defeat the Chrusher to get revenge for his humiliating defeat! Steven has many names, and many personalities. He also appears to have his own language, that apparently only HE knows, as it has no structure other than sounding like gibberish. Claims to be descended from Viking Warriors, Arabian Pirates, Jewish holy men, Conquistadors, and Hispanic mystics and warlords, nobody truly understands exactly what he truly is or is about. Is he mad? Or is he what he says he is and just very eccentric? Nobody truly knows. But when he snaps and is enraged, Barbarian is extremely powerful, manically violent, and viciously lethal.

Cheerful, fun-natured, sharp-tongued prankster, trusted friend of Chrusher and the rest of the Conquerors. More of a lover than a fighter, and would rather ask random chicks to have sex if he wears a condom than anything else. [SPOILER ALERT: Although friends with RaYzor, a locker stacking/graffiti war got out of hand at one point, with an ambush leaving Chassis hospitalized with a coma during year one. David Scruanot

Dave is a long-time friend to RaYzor and even a longer-time friend to Chrusher. Despite this, he said the famous term, "Everybody likes Ray, but nobody knows why!" Smart, yet a bit scatterbrained and messy. Dave comes from a middle-class family, yet joins Welforce in a heartbeat. When asked why, considering he could be a Conqueror with his bud Chrusher, he said, "I'd rather be leader of Welforce than a mid-ranked Conqueror". Kind of tough due to many wrestling matches with his sadistic older brother, played football for a season or two as well. Does NOT like Chad Chadtraw, who is the believed secret identity for "The White Ninja of Death". is exceedingly sex-crazed... obsessed with getting chick tail and doesn't care who he tries with, even if they don't even desire his advances. This includes the young, old, skinny, fat, pretty, ugly... it's all good. And unprotected to boot.

Jo Jo Bunns (John Kibbles)

John (AKA "Jo-Jo Bunns") is the twin brother of Jim Kibbles. Although they do look somewhat alike, and have a few similar interests, their personalities really couldn't be different. Jim is mild-mannered, jovial, good sense of humor, cool-tempered, and thinks before he speaks. His brother is somewhat the antithesis of this, as he speaks before he thinks, has a sadistic sense of humor and has a nasty temper. The twins are longtime friends of the Chrusher and are honorary members of the Conquerors group, although neither of them go on very many missions due to the Kibbles mom forcing them to do more chores than most teenagers are required to do. Same with Chrusher's famous "Chrusher Coliseum" backyard football games, where both played many a down, but often had to leave to do chores. Jim tries to keep his twin brother calm and collected, but to no avail, as John will just as soon bloodily smash his brother in the face repeatedly than calm down. John's temper and sadism is legendary, as he is your best buddy and will be the nicest guy you would ever want to meet in private. Then, in public, he has a desire to be show off, which also garnered him the name, 'Cool guy.' And part of being a show-off will often be mocking and BULLYING - friend, stranger, or foe alike. Notorious for picking on anybody smaller than him (which is many, as he's a pretty stocky, tough kid), but try to be overly nice to anybody bigger than him. Jo-Jo's oddest feature is his butt. Usually normal-sized, when he grows angry, his butt cheeks grow. And grow. And grow. Truthfully, butt cheeks that big should be humanly impossble. But... there they are.

Corey Marone

Corey Marone is the younger brother of Conqueror-tryout (turned near-immediate Conqueror-quitter) Jamie Marone. However, Corey had a LOT less maturity than his older brother and acted like a total buffoon most of the time. Since his father was a State Trooper, he felt like he was bulletproof, and would routinely goof off. Often seen with his best buddy Mark "Blubbs" Sharkton, and together they are like two of the Three Stooges, but dumber and more filthy minds and potty-mouths. When their buddy Danny G. Boyce finds them, he has an abusive relationship with them that REALLY turns the situation into a Three Stooges dynamic. [SPOILER ALERT: After high school, joined the military and saw action in Iraq. Was immediately promoted to the position his father left upon his return to the States.]

As a kid, had an accident that turned his skin green and he became known as the Green Gibshit. Many skin bleaches returned it to it's natural cacasian hue. Becaomes a private detective who annoys the living shit out of everybpdy around him, but actually does sometimes get the job done. Just... not very often.

Jamin "Powerhouse" Williamson

Jamin is one of the nicest guys one can meet. Great sense of humor, gets along with mostly anybody. Training to be a computer technician, but he isn't all brains. The kid is pretty damn muscular and ripped for a high school kid, and an amatuer wrestler. Very athletic and instantly became the muscle of the Conquerors, and Chusher's bodyguard of sorts.

Preston "Pain Master" Calkouns

In the 1980s there was a boom of Ninja popularity. Not much was actually known about real Ninjutsu, but every kid loved ninjas in cartoons and movies and wanted to be one. Preston was another such case. Poor Preston had an acne problem that caused some mockery amongst his classmates. One incident was between him and Keith Clarkson. Animosity brewed. It took head with a fight at a school dance, one where Preston dressed as a black ninja, hid in the shadows, threatened to stab Keith in the heart with a sai, and left.

Jim "Killer" Kibbles

Jim is the twin brother of John "Jo-Jo Buns" Kibbles.

Belligerent Go-kart track operator with a nasty, in-your-face, and often illogical temper. Known to be a confirmed cheat and believed to be a worker's comp fraud by everyone, yet is immensely popular and people like him everywhere because he is believed to be the chummy founder of a popular track even though he does not own nor fund the track (rich businessmen do), and even stole the idea of a dirt track and weekly racing from Chrusher's brother ("Musher" - founder of a go-kart track and karting club that pre-dates Jimmay's track by over thirteen years and that he raced at a year before, whom he barred from the track for winning too much. Location and financing mean EVERYTHING folks). Holds grudges and is susceptible to future heart failure due to his anger issues. Phillip Marsdung

A failed short track dirt stock driver who became too morbidly obese to race anymore that his neck got hurt repeatedly stuffing his fatass into his race car (neck couldn't get in... too much blubber), and is known as a master cheat engine who put his now-retired skills to good use by cheating for his kids and friends at the local itty-bitty-tiny-whiney-cutesy kil' kartway track downtown. Has no conscious and does not mind cheating to win, sees no point in winning in equalized, fair-and-square machines... if its his kids or his neighbors or the price is right, you can have an illegal motor that will beat people with ten times your talent and experience. Worried about post-race inspections! BWHAHA! HE IS THE INSPECTOR! And if he ain't? His buddy is. Look better than you are by winning at ALL costs and that's the way it is. But what about his kids? Surely, they are good, innocent kids who want to go out and race and compete to win, right? Lessons learned alright... cheatin' wins, sons!
